We live in Pacific Palisades and have made the trip to Garden Grove over the years because Dr. Kunihiro is such a kind, patient, and great dentist (whose fees are reasonable and less than a Palisades or Santa Monica dentist would charge). Dr. Kunihiro is always upbeat and relaxed and answers all questions with as much detail as you require. Professional, technically excellent and great referrals where needed. On top of all that, gracious, thoughtful and fun. Excellent staff.
My kids love Dr. Kunihiro! He has a wonderful personality that puts the kids at ease and takes the fear out of going to the dentist. Trying to get an appointment at a decent time can be difficult - certain procedures are only done at certain times. But I would definitely recommend Dr. Kunihiro.
Dr. Kunihiro has treated all three of my children, he is very patient and relates to children totally on their level! My son used to have panic attacks and Dr. Kunihiro has talked him through several appointments at my request. He always recommends what is best for the child. This story explains why Dr. Kunihiro is our family's dentist for life. Our son knocked out two front teeth late on a Saturday night. Generally, teeth must be reinserted within 2 hours or the body rejects them. As the clock ran down we found out emergency room doctors will not reinsert teeth. Dr. Kunihiro is a GREAT dentist, family man and community service helper. My child incurred an extremely dangerous medical condition in his upper jaw, and Dr. Kunihiro literally assisted myself and my son thoughout the entire diagnosis and treatment - all the way through till we ended up at USC Dental School! His staff is kind, patient and competent. His practice and service is outstanding. He has been my children's dental caregiver for almost 10 years.
