The people were pleasant and tried to help, which was a plus. However, I still had a disappointing experience overall. Better organisation and communication would make a big difference.
Kumars did catering for our association event and it was huge success. Many people who attended commended about the food. The food was delicious, authentic kerala food. Karimeen pollichathu, kappa, fish curry and dosa were worth mentioning. Excellent taste, quality, setup and service!

The live dosa stall was another huge hit and kept guests coming back for more! Thank you for your dedication, quality, and excellent service. Your team played a big part in making our event memorable. We truly appreciate all your hard work!
Stumbled on Kumar’s looking for some good, classic Indian cuisine and found a gem. Between how good the food is and the great prices, I don’t know that you can find a better Indian restaurant in and around the south metro. I would highly recommend the Tikka Masala myself, but their other dishes are excellent as well!
Kumar’s opened at 5 and I sat down around 5:06. I ordered a Coke, paneer saag, curd rice, and Chennai chilli chicken. I waited over 40 minutes and only got part of my order. The whole service was disorganized. The paneer saag had no flavor, the chilli chicken was burnt, and the curd rice came after I had already finished eating. Then when I went to pay, the waitress tried to charge me for a drink she never even brought out. Really disappointing experience.
