Food is as expected in a premier sushi bar that puts in the effort. What stands out to me is the staff, who welcomed you the moment you open the door, the immediate service when you're seated and the food being on the table before you know it. The server was never more than five minutes away from checking in and they made sure we lacked nothing. Good price for quality of sushi, always so quick and easy for takeout. Lady at the front desk taking orders sounds like she hates her job though, would start with training her to say “would you like anything else?” Instead of “what else do you want?”
We stopped here on our way through and we absolutely loved how fresh everything tasted! I love the Shrimp Shumai!! My Shrimp Tempura roll was awesome and packed with crab meat. The Philly Roll and Rainbow Roll were just as fresh and delicious. 10/10 would absolutely 100% come back again if coming back through Bakersfield! <3
