Genuinely the worst ER ive been too. Bedside manner and professionalism just doesn't exist here so dont come in expecting it. If your symptoms sound like drugs, they already talk down to you regardless of the real cause. If you come in disheveled because of an emergency, they kick you out and tell you to come better dressed. I'd rather take the drive to straub or any other ER any day. Zero stars if I could

I walked in the ER and explained I was feeling shortness of breath, chills, and pain in my joints, all they did was Check for Flu, Covid and get Urine samples and said there was nothing they could do because they cant do anything about virus! They just assumed it was Virus without doing more tests. Now Im hospitalized at another hospital.

Many thanks & a Merry Christmas to everyone in the ER, Intensive Care Unit & Coronary Care Unit @ the Kuakini Hospital in Honolulu. I wouldn't be writing this without your efforts in trying to keep me alive three months ago. It's much appreciated & not forgotten!!

As a citizen and a person of interest, I got to witness with my own two eyes how employees at this hospital sure show a lot of discrimination towards patients that come into the emergency with a history of drug use or those that are homeless. I visited this emergency in the past and I at that time felt a little uncomfortable because of the way I was treated .
