Wednesday, it was raining when I pushed the cart to my car...and hurriedly laid my cellphone wallet in the child seat while unloading. When I arrived at home I realized it was left in the cart! I hurried back with my heart in my throat knowing it wouldn't be there...my check card, driver's license, etc would be gone. When I asked at customer service if it had been found...it had been by one of their employees who was bringing in the carts. Thank God for Krogers honest employees!
We went away yesterday, and decided to stop at the Zanesville Krogers to grocery shop before heading back home..I had just checked out, NOT even finished paying yet when this older guy who clearly was drunk or on something started asking for money, we politely said no, he asked again. I was amazed how the cashier and bagger just stood there and said nothing. Come on!!! More cashiers please! This is ridiculous. It would be nice to just once come in and they actually have everything I'm looking for
What has happened to this store? I used to love to shop here but lately something isn't the same. Today I went around 2, and there were only 4 checkouts open and lines were backed up. There was always an employee watching the lanes and guiding customers. Not anymore. And the shelves aren't stocked well. There are also boxes piled in the aisles. I have noticed in the last several months that the store is not what it used to be.
I was just at Kroger with my 8 week old son. His car seat takes up most of the cart so it's difficult to get groceries in too especially after they have been bagged at the checkout. The man bagging my groceries offered to put them in a separate cart and then another lady pushed them to my car for me. It was pouring rain when we got outside and not only did she push the cart out, she told me that she would load them in the car for me so I could get my baby in the car and out of the rain. Was there tonight 9/19. Meat counter guy was rude at the best. Ask to have a salmon fillet cut in two pieces and he just wrapped it up. It was not on sale we just like it portioned up for two. The African American lady on Sunday nights hates her job too. Hope the work environment improves so they pass it on to the customer.
