Been shopping at Kroger over 30 years, and have been overcharged, charged for items not even purchased, plus being held waiting on refund 45 minutes yesterday May 6th. First online pick-up and was overcharged 200+ dollars then told to pull up by door be just a minute. After 40 minutes beat on door requesting manager. On May 4th 2021, I made an order for delivery with Kroger's that came up to the amount of $26.02. on May 5th I noticed that two payments were taken out of my account, my initial $26.02 and I was charged again for a order that I did not place that was in the amount of $132.51. Customer service told me that I will be refunded the $132.51 within 7 to 10 business days. This is an inconvenience because my husband and I budgeted what we needed. Ordered from Kroger in Arlington off of Fielder. Items I said NOT to substitute were substituted. Delivery person did NOT notify me when my groceries were delivered - they just threw them on the ground in front of my door. Not to mention, I had frozen items that were just left ON THE GROUND in front of my door. No knock, no message/notification. Beyond dissatisfied. Popular items never in stock. Poor service, this chain needs to be run out of Texas.
Due to the pandemic, and also because of our busy daily work schedule, we opted to just pay an annual delivery fee at KROGER so when we shop for our groceries, they will just be delivered to our house. KROGER uses a 3rd Party Shopper INSTACART to fulfill every delivery. What I am very upset about is for 2x now, INSTACART delivered our grocery to the WRONG ADDRESS, and KROGER dealt with it by simply saying they will give a refund in 1-2 weeks. What?! Yesterday at my local kroger in shepherdsville, ky, i was there to pick up my sons cake for his bday. I waited 40 mins, kept being told over and over that everyone was too busy to help, Literally no one would hand me the cake that was sitting behind the bakery counter. I ended up getting so upset, i started crying and left the store. Without my sons cake. Never again will i shop at my local kroger. *******it is.
The premade tortilla wrapped chicken sandwiches are tasty, but have human hair in them 3 different shopping trips from Arvada King Soopers. I've called to complain/report this issue, without any betterment. Three different trip/different days for those "wraps"...and they each had human hair. There is NO excuse for that, I think. Thank you, giving me space to vent. Please go there and see if your presence can make a change in their preparations.
I am an Asian woman and have been a loyal customer of Kroger for a long time. This Thursday I went shopping at **** ********** *****Sugar Land, TX 77479. During self-checkout, a staff treated me so rudely that I could not stay quiet and say nothing. Apparently, the store has advertised their shrimp as 5.77/lb with 2lb bag. It takes days sometimes to get prescriptions filled and I'm not always able to wait that long. I had another pharmacy try to call for over 3 hours to try to talk to someone about moving my prescription. I called Kroger corporate and they gave me the run around one customer service representative was totally avoiding what I was trying to get accomplished.
