I waited at the customer care center for an employee to assist with a money order. No one was at the desk so another employee called over the intercom for assistance. No one showed up to the customer care desk , so again another employee called over the intercom for assistance, again no one showed up. I called the store from inside and asked for a manager to send someone over to the customer care desk, i was told no one was in line and that i must be at the wrong store. I have been a customer at ********************** for most of my 75 years. They used to be an excellent store. They have absolutely taken a nose dive. Shelves not stocked, out of cuts of meats, bakery out of stock for popular items, manditory id for liquor (by an employee that could be my granddaughter, did I mention I am 75). They almost force self checkout. I intend on shopping elsewhere. If you own stock in this company you need to sell or attend stockholders meeting and insist on a review of corporate management.

Ive been placing online orders here and havent had an issue until this past week.I was charged almost double the advertised amount for an item. I tried contacting the store via telephone multiple times, however, after ringing for 20+ minutes each time, nobody would answer the phone.I contacted customer service via email, who was absolutely no help. Do not order ahead at the bakery, at least at this location! Third birthday in a row they I placed an order online for a cake and they didn't make the cakes (shame on me for giving them a 2nd and 3rd chance). First 2 times they "never received" the order through their system even though I had the confirmation emails. Today they called a few hours before I was scheduled to pick up my cake and said they were out of the kit I ordered. Horrible experience! They gave me the wrong order and I was told it would take 10 days for my refund. After 11 days I called and they first tried to say it had only been a week. Until I informed them I had screen shots with dates and times of all communication on my phone. Then suddenly they agreed it was 11 days ago. So allegedly I will, after waiting ANOTHER 10 DAYS, get my refund. Ridiculous! Kroger will never see another ***** from me. What this Kroger does, (and probably all Krogers), is posting sale price next to regular price.But when you checkout, the price ticket will show the regular price. After shopping at ****, ( 5 stars), I will buy only what **** doesn't have, which isn't much.Since I don't get overcharged enough to get the manager to approve the sales price, ( big headache to do), I just let it go. Most customers (dumb people), buy so much that they don't even notice the wrong charge (it's not much). This last ticket was the worst. Bought two K... read more

Whatever you do,do not use self checkout. I repeat do not use self checkout. I was checking out today, thought my card was accepted,turns out, one of the checkers came outside and told me to come back in pay for my purchases. They need to do something about the self checkout. Now I'm going to have to check with my bank to see if they charged me twice. These self checkouts are taking jobs away from people that need them.absolutley rediculous

My brother tried to cash his stimulus check at the courtesy booth. He was told by two different Kroger locations that they don't have enough money to cash checks. They advertise that they cash checks but in reality, they do not seem to cash more than a few hundred dollars? I asked them if they cash payroll checks. She said yes, "only if we have enough money." They cash checks. They should keep enough money to do what they advertise. Just another sign of Kroger's uncaring attitude.

I ordered 4 bottles of salad dressing via Kroger website to be shipped to my home. 2 of the 4 bottles broken in shipment. I asked for the broken bottles to be replaced and shipped without charge and the agent said, "our system does not provide a way to do this". So they refunded only the cost of the broken product. I submitted a complaint regarding the above and I was given a $10 credit on my 'loyalty card', however this coupon cannot be used with online orders.
