If I could give this place zero stars I would. As others have said, the lady who runs the place is extremely rude and definitely does not care about animals. She treated me like a dumbass when I called to report a bird with a broken wing on the beach and told me to take it to the hospital like I had a way to capture and transport a wild bird. The website says to call if you find an injured or abandoned animal and I’m not sure why cause they won’t help in the slightest. This is not a rescue sanctuary by any means. Just a rude... read more

I called multiple times and there was no answer. I am currently sitting on the beach with a seagull who has a mostly severed wing. Seriously injured. Bone sticking out at 90 degree angle. The gull was trying to sever the wing the rest of the way before it collapsed with exhaustion. I'm now waiting for animal control. Even if all they do is put it down, that'll be better than leaving it to die in the rising tide. No help at all.

Called in reference to two baby Mockingbirds whose mother was eaten by a snake. The lady on the phone was rude in her response, telling us we should have left them alone. Why? So the snake could have dessert? They were no help at all but they call themselves a wildlife sanctuary lol! Needless to say we Googled how to care for these orphaned birds and unfortunately they both passed two days later. terrible place the lady thinks she is better than everyone i Was court ordered to do 50 hours of community service and was very respectful to her. I had an appointment at 1:30 to start and I was in the glades at 1:15 and spent 25 minutes trying to find the place she told me directions were on Google maps and they led me to the wrong place finally I find it and I was 10 minutes late I apologized and explained why I was late and she told me that I'm unreliable and refered to me and my mother as you people as if I was trash a l... read more
