Tried to get an appointment for my shoulder pain. Went to their website site and they seemed to provide a convenient way to request an appointment. After not hearing back for few days, called them and got a prompt saying they can schedule an appointment over text. Responded to that text, and still no appointment. 6 years ago I fell off a 30ft roof and broke ALOT of stuff in my body but the left wrist/hand basically imploded. While I was in the hospital I had 2 different surgeons basically tell me that I would never use my hand again and the surgeries they did were just to save it from having to be amputated. I found Dr. Downing while was in the hospital/rehab center and not only did he did he save my hand I have about 80% mobility and full function of it within a year. More concerned with lawsuits and malpractice than healing people. Stay away from orthopedic surgeons. They make millions of dollars for an industry that is built to suggest surgery in many cases when it isn't the best, nor clinically viable option. Think about it this way - they only make money if they cut you open. The clinic fees aren't what fills their pockets. Its when they get in the OR to cut you open. They see you as a body, not as a soul.
I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Christopher Downing. I came in for my hand condition, Dupuytren's disease, after seeing advertisements for some type of treatment shot. Instead, my visit turned into a frustrating ordeal. I waited for 2 hours in the lobby before being seen, which felt like an eternity. Once inside, Dr. Downing quickly mentioned that they only perform surgery unless the condition resembles a "crab claw."
