I would highly recommend Dr. Carlson if you are having some issues that he specializes in. He’s very knowledgeable, professional, engaging and intelligent.
Dr Carlson doesn’t rush his appointments thru and cares about your overall health. He’s big on prevention and doesn’t just jump to do surgery just because others will. That said, mine required surgery and my follow up care was incredible. I had some additional questions after my surgery and when I called the answering service, and they connected me to him, at 10pm no less, he was very nice and answered all my extra questions. I will be going to Dr Carlson whenever I need him, and will recommend him to anyone.
I’ve have never felt so belittled in my entire life. I went for an appointment for my kidney stones and I got talked down to about my weight and how I need to get on a plant based diet. He talked about all the medications I’m on and how this is why Americans aren’t healthy. I went simply for a check up on my kidney stones and instead got a weight management appointment. He is so disgraceful and I’m ashamed I even had a doctor like him.
Dr. Carlson is an exceptional physician. I would see him for everything if I could. He took the time to answer my questions. Not a doctor that will beat around the bush or just tell you what you want to hear... but he will fix you! Doesn't recommend surgery unless absolutely needed!

Dr. Carlson treated me with disrespect and belittled me at office visit. He questioned why I was even there though it was his office who said I needed to schedule a follow up appointment with him. He told me that my teenage pregnancy was an example of what was wrong with the world, and he criticized the amount of medication I was on. I left that appointment crying and I will never go back to him and I would never recommend him to someone else.
I have never left a review for a doctor but I will in this case. Dr Carlson is awesome!! We came for my 10 month old son who has an undescended testicle. We were nervous about the appointment and he was very down to earth and is HILARIOUS! I will recommend him to anyone and everyone. I wish he was our primary doctor.
Just finished my first apt with this doctor, he is both incredible and amazing. He is conservative, very personable, took plenty of time to explain my case to me and the solutions, but most notable he was not in a hurry to rush off. He will tell you how it is, not sugar coat the facts and will talk with and not at you. My only wish is he was my primary care. If I could provide a higher recommendation he would be 10 stars! Great job Doc, truly thank you!!
