The food is always good here, but I have a few suggestions. My father had the Rueben sandwich. I would suggest you cut the corned beef thin and layer it instead of big thick chunks. It would be much easier to eat! I had the marinated roast beef. The meat didn't taste like it was marinated in anything and I would have preferred a hot sandwich rather than a cold one. Maybe grill the focaccia bread have hot beef and melted Swiss chees! Overall, good place with large portions and very friendly staff.
The food, cocktails and people are the best around!
Best restaurant around. Krista's is the place to go for great drinks, delicious food, and wonderful service. Be it breakfast on the weekends or lunch or dinner, the menu features a wide variety of drinks and well prepared meals with something for every taste --- all served by the most pleasant and professional staff. Carly Simon must have had Krista's in mind when she sang "Nobody Does It Better."
Wow!!! Exceeded my expectations! The staff was extremely friendly. It was almost like you were part of their family and they wanted to cook for you. The portions were enormous and the food was absolutely delicious. We are already planning our next motorcycle ride there next time we're up in Maine!
The chowder was to die for. Better, by far, than any I have ever had. We were a party of eight and everyone had something different. Everyone raved about the quality of their food. Our waitress was very attentive on a crowded Saturday night. If I didn't live in CA I'd eat there all of the time.
