Dr. Pokala is very personable and puts his heart into making sure you are getting the best care possible. I was so blessed to be referred to him following my care at Dell Seton Hospital. Dr. Pokala was very thorough in his review of my case and made me feel comfortable that my diagnosis was correct. He wasted no time in getting me set up with a plan for recovery and coordinated everything with my insurance company. He has continued to monitor my care and I continue to see the positive results from his compassionate care.

Many years ago I suffered nerve damage due to a toxic drug poisoning that I could not prove. Dr. Pokala was the first physician to listen and verify my claims through nerve testing. It was a great relief to be in his compassionate care and he humbly referred me to another excellent neurologist (Dr Hussain) for further testing.
Very thorough, personable, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manor. We travel over two hours to see Dr Pokala !
I have seen many neurologist in my time and he was the only one who actually listened to me and understood everything I was talking about. He was the first doctor that told me that I am a migraine patient. He made me feel comfortable telling him all my symptoms and at the end, wanted me to try some medication which I refused at first, but now that I have taken them, I have less migraines than I’ve ever had before
Dr Pokala questioned me about my condition, and we had a very detailed conversation about possible issues and solutions. Very friendly and he had highly informative, but understandable responses for the potential issues.
Very thorough, explained everything about my test as we went along. Very personable and has a wonderful bedside manner. Highly recommend!
