They left me a quote for service I’ve tried calling twice with voicemail nobody’s getting back to me

I have/had a unprofessional experience. There was never any official arrangements or contract made. I called and left a voicemail about merely wanting to get an estimate. People showed up and just did the work. To my understanding it was in the middle of the day while my children were in the process of e-learning for elementary school. I quite literally never spoke with anyone to confirm I actually wanted the work done by their company.
