Once I saw what ophthalmology was all about, I was intrigued. It was exciting to know I could change people's vision. When I meet a new patient, my primary goal is to understand why it is they're here to see me. I can only do that by learning a little bit about who they are. I try to be very approachable and listen to them so I can ensure that all of their questions are answered and they'll get the treatment they came for.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Gillian and the doctors at the Georgia Eye Associates. As a patient since 1994, I truly owe my eyesight to them. They saved the vision of my left eye when I contracted herpes simplex Type I, removed cataracts from both eyes and recently performed upper eye lid lift surgery which greatly improved my vision. Great Doctors and caring personnel who will take great care of you!!!

I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes performed by Dr. Kris Gillian. I procrastinated scheduling this procedure due to nerves. However, once the process began all my questions were thoroughly addressed by Dr. Gillian, relieving my anxiety. From the start, the scheduler, Beth Pitts, guided me through all the steps necessary for a seamless experience. Dr. Gillian was very professional. He explained how the eye works and how he was going to make them better. I was very comfortable with him, and the surgery was flawless. He has helped me tremendously. I can see as well as I did in my early 40s. Highly recommend him.
After waiting the past few years to have LASIK done I finally did it this year. After going through reviews of multiple companies and choosing Georgia Eye Associates I couldn't be happier. Dr. Gillian conducted my pre surgery work, procedure, and post opp. He was readily available and communicated everything very well. When it comes to my eyes I am typically a bit reluctant to get things done, but I highly recommend GEA & Dr. Gillian.
Dr. Kris Gillian was professional with me for the multifocal lens implants using Lasik surgery. Pre-surgery consultation was easy to understand the options for cataract surgery and pricing, as well as the medication regiment. One eye was operated on at Northside Hospital with the second eye surgery two weeks later. I highly recommend Dr. Gillian for cataract surgery as well as the multifocal lens. It’s three weeks since the second implant and I have been able to read and see afar.
My biggest complaint is that I can only leave five stars. The Dr., group, and hospital deserve more. I was EXTREMELY nearsighted, and wore contacts for over 50 years. And then developed cataracts. Dr. Gillian was not only able to remove the cataracts in both eyes, but put in lenses that corrected my vision, and I can see wonderfully without any lenses. The procedure was quick, painless, and I walked out seeing! I HIGHLY recommend him. Contact me if you have any questions.
I did not realize how bad my vision had gotten over the years. With Dr Gillian’s expertise I can now see to drive at night and do not feel constantly tired from trying to hmake Ltd my eyes open. Dr Gillian performed cataract and eye lid surgery on me and I would whole heartily recommend him for these procedures. I had no issues and healed well after both surgeries. Great surgeon and seems like a great person in general. 5 plus stars.
My cataract surgery was a total success and painless. I was very apprehensive as I am claustrophobic and sensitive about anything touching my eyes. I'm not even comfortable using eye makeup! Dr. Gillian was sensitive to my needs. He did a wonderful job, and I couldn't be happier.
