Went to a Kaiser facility on Sunset Blvd in LA for an ultrasound near the right side base of my penis due to some slight discomfort. Doctor George Adel-meier Abdelsayed, was the urologist who was supposed to be the one who performed the ultrasound. Instead, he brought in a female resident to perform the ultrasound. Resident Irene Chen severely stretched my penis and crushed my glans which caused permanent damage during an external ultrasound. For minutes long, she excessively overstretched and smashed my penis & I yelled to stop due to the immense pain. She didn't stop or say one word to me. My penis was excessively stretched and crushed during an external ultrasound. While crushing my glans with reckless force, she pulled my penis so far away from my body, she had no idea what she was doing. No one in their right mind would smash and yank a penis like that. I sought care when extending my SDI and obtaining an MRI order for a very traumatic preterm birth. Unfortunately Marlene was very cold, short, offered a mere 2 week extension and refused to order a much needed MRI and said “I don't know why they put it on us. They have to do it” When you’re unsure on whether your baby is going to make it out okay, this hurts to hear.
Dr. Sommerfeld was respectful and knowledgeable. I’ll be having my whole family see him from now on. Great bedside manner. He’s in Lone Tree now too.
Dr Scruggs saved my life 2 weeks ago. I went to Kaiser Permanente urgent care with abdominal pain and she ordered a cat scan that showed I had a ruptured aorta and had me rushed to Northside hospital ER for emergency surgery. Surgeon said if I had gotten there 1 hour later I would have died. THANK YOU DR SCRUGGS. You are the best. William T
She does not listen, constantly interrupts and will do anything to be able to do the absolute least for her patients. She is also extremely dismissive of very real concerns. Her strategy with doctoring is to just do the bare minimum and then pass the patient off to someone else. She also does not reply to her messages and her office staff is a disaster. Avoid at all cost.
Combative, aggressive, dismissive. Saw me for less than 3 minutes before dismissing another provider's assessment and suspected diagnosis. All without ever having reviewed my medical or family history. Belittled me and my research. Stated factually incorrect information in regards to her field of study. Lacks professional credibility and bedside manor.
Such an unprofessional dr. With limited experience and instead of saying he was unsure how to help me, he simply told me just to write my symptoms down to track & tried to force birth control on me like every other dr. He was visibly frustrated with me because I mentioned alternative options. I was extremely vulnerable & left in tears, another dr who can’t be bothered to try to get to the root cause of a decade of health concerns. Just wanting to put a bandaid & completely invalidating my experiences.
