Best Laotian BBq chicken. They are in the corner inside of new haven food court. So i feel like not a lot of people know about this place. But they have the best bbq. Chicken and pork rib are my fav.

This is inside the New Haven food hall, there’s lots of available seating and is very bright and clean! I walked about 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready. The Lao BBQ Mix plate has a whole variety of all the meat available, so you get to try a little bit of everything. The chicken breast was sweet, tender, and juicy. I wanted to try Kra Z Kai's upon a recommendation from NYT food critic Tejal Rao. It was one of those articles which spoke highly and fondly of a food you never had before. So off to Kra Z Kai. I've had the bbq mix plate twice and am trying the grilled steak today!

I stop in here every couple weeks. I love the chicken with sticky rice. It’s sweet, golden, juicy and with the pepper it’s so good. The employees are nice too. Thanks for dinner Kra Z Kia
