Bought a used grand cherokee about 6 months ago. Was bringing it in for second oil change during that time and noticed a leak and ran a hot temp temporarily for a moment the day before. Drove fine on the way to the dealership the next day. They said it was due to a water pump that need to be replaced and it caused the head gasket issue so the gasket was not covered in the warranty. They are the worst of the worst. A close friend of mine bought an extended warranty for his new car with them. When the car started having problems, they initially said they would cover the repairs. But once the mechanic gave the final diagnosis and the cost, they suddenly claimed it was due to “lack of maintenance” and refused to pay. Purchased a Preferred Care extended warranty from the dealership when buying my used vehicle in April. The "lane assist error" icon appeared and I made an appointment with the dealer. Upon completing the multi-point inspection, I was told that the VVL solenoid seals were leaking and the FFCM (front facing camera module) needed replacement. When I bought my Acura MDX, I purchased a "Paint & Appearance" warranty from Kornerstone through the dealer. The amount of things the warranty covered seemed too good to be true. Turns out it was definitely legit! I had very bad UV sun damage to the paint/appearance on my car. So I started a claim with Kornerstone. Company provides all these warranties but doesn’t offer any solutions. They literally figure out any loopholes not to hold up their end of the deal. Every warranty contradicts the other. The blame everyone for failure to maintain vehicle. I will be turning them into BBB, the DMV, news station and IRS for a full blown investigation this is FRAUD. I will make sure this company and their association to Joe cooper Shawnee be fully investigated as they are running a scheme on their customers
