(July 2024): So far, I feel very lucky to have come across this complex and leasing staff. I really enjoy the amenities, location, and surrounding neighborhood; the park is amazing! Everyone in the office that I’ve met (Yesenia, Cher, Jack, Keisha) have always welcomed me with kindness and have worked hard to quickly assist and resolve any questions or concerns I’ve had. I am not yet a tenant so I can't speak to the living experience but I did tour the Alder property with Julius and really liked all of the amenities available. I toured the Alder which was fresh clean and modern. I've been in the Korina before but the styling was very grandpa for me... Very brown brown brown. In Alder they have actual fobs to open doors instead of glitchy apps that rarely work correctly. I liked the layouts and styling for both of the units that I viewed. Korina is the best place I’ve ever stayed as a renter. The amenities, service, location, and mixed use development of restaurants & fitness, along with a beautiful park, pond, dog park, playground, and hiking trails make the Korina the best place to rent in Austin.
I toured this apartment last Monday and really liked it. I told the staff that I would make a decision soon. Two days ago, I decided to lease the unit I saw and emailed Alex, the person I had been in contact with. He didn’t respond. I followed up again yesterday, and still—no reply. I just checked online and saw that the unit I was interested in is no longer available. I’m really frustrated. As an out-of-state applicant, I expected at least a baseline level of customer service (rude, unfriendly) and clear communication. What I encountered instead was the most frustrating and disorganized leasing experience I’ve had to date—made all the more shocking by the volume of glowing reviews that clearly do not reflect the reality I experienced. Go elsewhere. I will be telling my peers to never apply here.
