Dr. Koontz is the best neurosurgeon I've ever known. He is people friendly, honest and thorough.
Dr Koontz, did my cervical fusion and my lumbar fusion 10 yrs ago. He did a wonderful job. Every Dr that has looked at my films over the years remarks on how good the work is. Sadly, as with mostsmost injuries, they are progressive and I don't live in Oklahoma anymore to see him or I definitely would. Very kind and understanding.
I never actually saw the surgeon to be fair, but his office is mass chaos. They can’t handle scheduling a simple appointment and instead of ensuring a patient is comfortable and calm, since they are there for surgery, they’re rude and discuss their “meetings” about their failings to stay organized right in front of you. Left a formal complaint for the doctor to give him a change to address the situation and only got a call from a billing person harassing me for an appointment I didn’t have.
