We test drove some cars and found one I liked. But as we went in, we stated that we wanted a break down before we signed anything. They talked to us like we were stupid, left us alone for 30 minutes several times (totaled to over an hour and a half), lied about payments, and the finance guy literally laughed in my face when we said we didn’t want GAP. I will never go back or recommend this shady location. KOONS Rockville has a good rep so I expected Tyson’s to hold the same standard but they don’t. On 8/29/20 I came in to purchase a 14 Mercedes with a cash down payment and a check from my credit union to fund the entire deal. I was told by the finance department that I had to fill out a credit application ONLY to verify my identity and there would be no hard inquiries hitting my credit report. This is the absolute worst service center I have ever experienced! They tried to charge me in excess for services on my car when they weren’t even done. I marked a pink, yellow, green and blue paint maker on a tire to make sure my tires were rotated. NOPE! And then acted like I hadn’t been there and asked another worker if I needed a tire rotation. This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever experienced! I wouldn’t recommend this location to my worst enemy! My car was involved in a total loss accident so as I shopped and looked for vehicles on CarGurus this location came up for the vehicle I was looking for which was a used Traverse. Good Service by professionals at a fair and honest cost
Bait and switch through TrueCar/USAA. Will not honor the price that THEY themselves advertise through these services. Not anywhere close either. Talking about 4k difference from their advertised price on TrueCar. Deceptive and shady, I will warn everyone in the market that I can to steer clear. If you are this deceptive right off the bat, I can’t imagine how the rest of the dealership is ran.
