The food was delicious and generous in proportions. The prices were fair. The wait staff were great and friendly. Can't wait to go back

The fried dill pickles were way too fat. Didn't get fried very good, batter was still doughy. Burger was ok.

Business response:

Glad you enjoyed your burger, Mary, but I'm sorry the rest of our food wasn't as impressive. I hope you'll allow us another chance to prove ourselves to you and pay us another visit sometime! - Shawn Danko, President

Went to Kooky Canucks with my family for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. I had a 14 oz steak that was awesome. Service was a little slow for some reason but I'll be going back. The cookie we ate for desert was so good. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves something different. 👍

Business response:

Sorry about any delays in our service, Wendell, but thank you so much for stopping by and enjoying our food! I especially love that you were such a fan of our dessert, and I can't wait to have you back again. - Shawn Danko, President

One of the many things I love about this restaurant is the slight twist they put on standards. The turnip greens are fresh and perfectly cooked and also have a a slice of pickled jalapeño for just the right kick. The mashed potatoes have some fresh blue cheese. Great job staff and manager!

Business response:

This is what we're all about, Craig -- bringing a little twist to everything that we make! Thanks so much for taking the time to recognize us here on Facebook with a review. Pay us another visit anytime you're hungry. - Shawn Danko, President

I recommend the prime rib and potato soup. It is like gravy with small chunks of potato and prime rib! Awesome !!

Make sure you don't tip after 10 pm because if you read the fine print on the menu you will already be charged a "service fee" of 18% and then given a suggested 15 or 20% gratuity added to the amount that had already included the 18%. (Double tipping) this was our 4th and last time to eat here. I was about to give our waitress a 17$ tip off of 3 people eating (without knowing) when she didn't deserve a tip at all after there was a straw paper in one of our waters and when we told her she accused us of putting it in there.
