I have been with Dr. Plestis for 14 years (Ascending Aortic Aneurysm, Bicuspid Aortic Valve) Dr. Plestis is an exceptionally skilled and experienced surgeon with an equally effective bedside manner. My elective open heart surgery (10/2024) and continued recovery has been excellent by every measure. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Plestis and his amazing practice at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr.Plestis saved my life. As soon as I met him he told me not to worry and I would live a long life, it was such a relief. Other doctors turned me away, he did the surgery and I'm 4 weeks post-op open heart, and I feel great. He is highly skilled, has a great personality, great bedside manners, and makes the process less scary. I'm so grateful to have met him and been his patient!!
