The food and environment at Kona is always 5 stars. The sliders beef or pork are phenomenal!
We celebrated a birthday there, there was six of us. We were able to get a reservation and for a Friday night surprisingly it wasn’t busy. Our poor waiter was very young & very inexperienced. He was extremely nice but he ended up forgetting a few things. But the food was excellent & despite that I had a good time. I’d be happy to visit again.
Sushi was bland. Never had shrimp tempura roll without the sauce. Macadamia nut chicken with sauce was delish but veggies were too spicey and peppery. Too hot to enjoy.
I met friends for happy hour. Arrived after service at the table and went to the bar to get a drink, a waitress came running over to me to tell me if I was sitting At a table ( 4 persons) I could not order at the bar(?) When she asked me what I wanted, I asked what white wine was on the happy hour menu. The answer was they ran out. Then I asked to see a menu, they ran out. Great food friendly staff. Love eating outside. Sushi rocks and the sliders are to die for with sweet potato fries
Beautifully decorated and the pork tenderloin was plated beautiful as well. Can't wait to try more at this resturant.
