Very attentive staff. Food was delicious and the menu has something for everyone. From appetizers to desserts we were satisfied with everything we ordered. Try the fondue and egg rolls for an appetizer. Macadamia Nut Chicken was yummy. Can’t leave without a piece of the best carrot cake I’ve ever had.
My husband and I love it there. We love the sushi, great sushi! We also love sitting outside. The bar staff are friendly and kind!!
While the dinner menu resembles nearby Roys, this place is open for lunch with a huge menu of salads, sandwiches, and light fare. While most of the offerings have a Pacific-orientation, there are lots of standards for Continental folk. There is a great indoor/outdoor bar area.
Either their happy hour prices are pretty terrible or they were just ripping us off, because I ended up with a big bill for not very much food. I know it was happy hour, also, because they asked us if we were there for happy hour. Additionally, it was Sunday, which is supposed to be all day happy hour at Kona.The prices for sushi at Kona looked like the regular/slightly spendy prices at any sushi place, both on the menu and on the bill when I received it. This is my favorite restaurant, and theres one in West Palm Beach too. Anytime Im going to be near either locations its a must. I LOVE the chicken tacos. *Macadamia nut encrusted chicken, cabbage, carrot shreds, tomato, avocado slices. Rather than a taco despite its name- its a "wrap" cut into four pieces, with a slightly spicy chipotle/asian sauce inside and a dipping sauce for the tacos served on the side. Love This Place! Refreshing new place by International Plaza- great lunch specials!! Had a party of 15 there for a work lunch and their service during the busy lunch hour was FANTASTIC.
Are you kidding? The best Ahi Tuna I have ever had!!! Oh my....wish we were closer...way up here in Vermont....not going to happen anytime soon but sure will be happy when we go back in March!!!Oh Ya!!
Ive been there for lunch a couple of times and the food and service were very good. Thats high praise considering they just opened.
