I bought a Groupon deal, had no problems, fast delivery, nice/helpful rep by phone. Will share my results in a week or 2, as I just started my 1st batch/brew at 6pm today.
A wonderful resource, both in store and online, for folks new to kombucha.. And people who have brewed it with finesse and skill for ages! The employees are helpful in-store, and timely in returning email correspondence. The prices are beyond reasonable and the SCOBY is of the highest quality. 10/10 from me!

DON'T BUY... from Kombucha Brooklyn. Charged me $15.99 to ship a small start up kit. Sent a few e-mails and no reply...love when a business hides behind the computer. Save your money and shop elsewhere!!!!
"Can you not touch the teacups you are considering buying? You have oils in your fingers that 'disturb' them." Kombucha was tasty, but proprietors were very unwelcoming and wouldn't answer our questions about their teas. Bought half gallon but won't be back for this reason. Plenty of friendly competition with similar product quality in area.
Made the trip from Ct today for Kombucha 101. Great class. Can't wait to wake up tomorrow morning and brew my first batch. I'll be making that trip again for more classes.
