I used to love Koji, but lately the cleanliness is a problem. The restaurant is not clean, dead flies in the window sills, dirty ceiling tiles, and greasy tables and chairs. The owner used to be on sight, and the place was much better. Lately, he has not been around and it shows. There were so many teenagers in the kitchen, talking laughing and not working. I absolutely love Koji. It is, without a doubt, my favorite place to eat in Murfreesboro.
My wife and I have been going here for the past 4 years. Always on point- always consistent. We moved to Brentwood about 2 years ago and EVERYTIME we are near the Boro we make it a priority to pick up Koji. The food is almost a narcotic experience- all it takes is the thought of the smell,the taste, the anticipation of devouring the greatness that is Koji. You might just find yourself making the voyage to this Mecca without thinking.
