Everything we've heard about the chef is true! The food is simple and elegant...good ingredients expertly prepared. I had the fish option and my boyfriend the beef. We shared and decided if we could only have one we'd both have the beef, but thankfully we didn't have to choose. The beef melted in your mouth and had a very wintery spice that was perfect for this pre-holiday season. The salmon skin was like crispy fish bacon, and the risotto was flawless. Best food in Eugene!
This was my first visit to the Koho Bistro. After years in the restaurant industry, including owning an airport cafe and catering business near Austin, I must say how impressed I was. The Pork dish of sweet baby back ribs were damn fine, plus nice touch with the red miso, bacon, and kimchi saute, served with cilantro steamed rice. Way to go! Oh, and our server Shauna was really good!
