A bit small for dining if the place is packed but the staff was extremely friendly and they do have some outdoor tables as well. The food was delicious and fresh! We'll definitely be going back!
Quaint restaurant with wonderful sushi. It's been a special retreat for years now. Our son, Ryan & I have good memories there.
My girlfriend and I really enjoy stopping in after a nice workout at Golds Gym (that's just across the street) or we occasionally come in for a quick sushi date. Very small place and I think that is why we enjoy it so much. It's quiet, comfortable and very authentic and the sushi is some of the best in this state. They take their time with the presentation/plating of their rolls and the quality is hard to forget. Pricing is also very fair and the family who runs it knows hospitality very well. Keep up the great work!
I gotta say, this place has wonderful sushi!!! There is an amazing selection of everything! Everyone should be able to enjoy this place! I tried 3 different sushi rolls and each one was delicious! I highly recommend this place! Prices are good too!
I love this restaurant. There are lots of fully cooked options for those who aren't into sushi. But for those who love the flavors, textures, and presentation of traditional sushi, you will be very pleased.

I am a sushi snob. Lived four years in Southern California, six years In Berkeley, and then two in Chicago (those places sculpted my sushi experience). Kohnami has a quality that rivals almost every single sushi experience I had in those allegedly more "cosmopolitan" locations. What's more, we have known Mia and John for 11 years....since my husband asked me to marry him, at Khonami. I said yes.
