I took my cat here to be spayed. Staff took her on time and were very pleasant. However, despite my cat wearing the e-collar they strongly encouraged that I didn’t personally find necessary, my cat’s incision became infected approximately 7 days later. I shouldn’t have been surprised because the stitches looked rather loose. My cat also seemed to be in a lot of pain leading up to the infection. As a dog trainer, my standards for those in the animal field are high, yet this place surpassed my expectations in every way. The staff is very compassionate and wise. In addition, the place was spotless.

I worked with Kohn on behalf of Evanston Animal Shelter where they saw and treated my foster dog Bruiser several times, and ultimately we had to humanely euthanize him here. They were always so great to work with with and very kind & compassionate. I don’t remember the name of the vet who we had at the euthanasia (it was a blur of emotions) but I hope she sees this as I cant thank her enough for her gentle, caring nature and patience with us as we learned about and went through the process.
