The Koffee Kup Family Restaurant is a Central Texas landmark. Having been in the Allen family since1970, Lynn Allen has owned it since 1975. We are a full service restaurant, open 6:00 am until 9:30 pm everyday except Christmas Eve and Day. We offer three separate dining areas, a complete menu and seating of 116. From eggs and pancakes, to lunch specials to specialty burgers made on our own homemade buns to Black Angus rib-eyes. Everyone can find what they're looking for.

My son and I ate here for the first time yesterday. After waiting 20 minutes the waitress finally came to take our order....another 20 minutes went by, before I had to walk up to the counter and ask for our drinks. Finally after about 10 more minutes we got our food. While all of this was going on we had noticed about 3 tables who arrived after us, immediately get their drinks, and their food before us. 5/22/2016 My family and I were there to eat breakfast and after waiting on our food for over an hour, then to sit and watch other people be served that came in 20 to 30 minutes after us was very disturbing. We were the ONLY family that was that was not the ethnicity as others and this place has changed its identity(KKK) to make people feel different is beyond me. Food was just okay. Nothing special. They do not take credit or debit cards. But they do have handy ATM machine in the entry that will only cost you an extra FIVE bucks.

We take the longer, slower route from Dallas to the Texas Hill Country to enable a stop in Hico at the Koffee Kup, a friendly place with good food, old fashioned burgers and delicious pies! Same thing going back to Dallas. ☕
The Koffee Kup has the best food of any of the 30 states I've visited! Their chicken fried steak is heavenly and your tastebuds will be overjoyed with their homemade Black Forest Pie! Great Texas welcome from all staff!
Worst restaurant in town. Only hires druggies and thieves. Fired their best employee because some one said she was eating food. Fuck that place
