My son and I went to this location because I had a wonderful experience at the *********** Location and I wanted him to come to ************ also. I called to schedule our appointment and was told that the *********** location didn't have any appointments to fit us in together within a reasonable timeframe, the scheduler suggested we go to the ************** location. I was able to check in and was in the process of checking in my son. My son is 20 yrs old and has an intellectual disability. Unbeknownst to me my son had lost... read more
Although I liked my doctor, I’ve taken my glasses back twice since my exam because they were not good. I still feel they’re not right. (For example , my phone looks warped to me when it’s laying flat. Not! I had vertigo the whole first day that I tried to adjust to them! The tech told me that I have to get used to them.). I had my glasses made at BJ’s last year, and they were perfect the first time! I’m very disappointed and will be looking for a new eye doctor.
It has been a month and I still have not gotten my glasses. What’s worse is the run around that I have gotten and now I can never even get in touch with anyone. I’m actually at a loss as to what to do. I have never seen such horrible service from a medical facility in my life.
Three strikes and I'm out. Will not come back. I ordinarily don't post bad reviews, but I feel they've made a fool of me over a couple of years. My 1st exam and glasses - glasses were not even close to usable. 2 or 3 people check them, yep, the prescription is right, there's nothing wrong, don't know why I can't see. So I bring my glasses in from the year before- "Make them exactly like this pair". Glasses come in, and they're fine. Dec 2022 I get an exam specifically for reading glasses - I made that very clear. I also aske... read more
Yesterday, my wife underwent her second cataract surgery at St. James Surgical Center in Warwick, RI. Like the first procedure, it, too, was remarkable. Koch Eye Associates operates a moden, state-ot-the art opthomological facility and it is outstanding. Dr. Akexandrou successfully restored Carole's vision in the most proficient, professional and compassionate manner and is a credit to his profession. Everyone on the staff deserves praise, as well, for their kindness and dedication to their patients.
I'm worried you have quite a few bad reviews, especially on Lasik. Also been trying to get an appt and no one picks up in a Cue.....
Business response:
Hi Robin, I messaged you a direct phone number. Our call center has been very busy with the re-opening after the COVID shutdown. We are working to increase staffing to meet the demand. Our Lasik patients are very happy with their results, unfortunately we have been targeted by an outside/out-of-state group that leaves negative reviews on random business pages. We are working with Facebook to rectify the situation. Thank you for your concern!
Fully warn prospective patients of the consequences of LASIK! 1. The LASIK flap never heals. Weak scar tissue around the flap edge holds it in place -\-\ like a Tupperware lid. But the flap itself is not attached and can be accidentally dislodged for life. Moreover, the LASIK flap creates a permanent portal in the cornea, which exposes patients to increased risk of late onset corneal inflammation or infection. 2. The cornea is permanently thinner and weaker after LASIK. Corneal biomechanical failure (ectasia) may occur short... read more
