The crew is spontaneous and fun, while the food is a tad bit pricey compared to their peers in Portland, their quality of merchandise and their attention to detail, first class.
Host and servers did a great job. Attentive and friendly in just the right amount. Food was ok. Drinks were ok. Inside seating is legit. Outdoor seating has a nice view ...and an unfortunate sewage order on the breeze due to the building's location. Not their fault, but stick to indoor tables IMO.
Disappointed in that I walked in on a hot day and was told that I could not order food and sit outside on one of their 15 open tables. "Bad air quality" he said. TBH he said I could order food to go but I couldn't have a drink. Literally 90 degrees. Smoke happens; I have a dog. No reasonable person cares if a person sits inside or outside. IMO the host foolishly turned me away and so lost my future business.
The server was on his phone, leaning at the sushi bar, texting and calling 90% of the time besides taking our order. We went without a single water refill or check in during our whole meal. And even upon asking, we did not receive a side of miso soup or a green salad like advertised.
