Andrew did a good job at explaining the company’s policy on finishing the storage contract. Unfortunately I discovered that you are required to pay for the entire month when closing out a contract instead of paying for a partial month as other storage company’s do. He provided a reasonable explanation.
I called today because I received an email touting a cash incentive to set up autopay. Since I was already set up for autopay, I was concerned that something had gone wrong. Cherry took my call. She was very helpful and verified everything was fine. So my concern and phone call were unnecessary, a waste of time. The mailing list needs to be more selective.
I have been with KO storage for the last year. Have been in and out of a few units, but paying for a large and small unit currently. I picked up a small unit to store some items after a close relative passed away and needed storage. They quoted me a reasonable fee for what they call a 6'x16' unit even though it is more like 4'x12'. After two months they tripled my price and are now calling it a "premium" unit!
