I took my child to the zoo for the first time here in Knoxville Tennessee and I have an issue with the animals looking malnourished and unhealthy. They looked dehydrated and miserable. I am asking that the Knox county Zoo be required to make the environment more suitable for the animals more water areas for them to self cleanse and remain hydrated. It is hot in the summer. I am also asking that it be requested to have animal experts come in and check the health and safety of our animals occasionally. I know as a resident I d... read more

Crowd Control My experience was overcrowding in a hot environment where people mostly shoved and pushed others out of the way. The animals were really nice to see when I could get a chance to get around to see them. The food smelled and looked bad. It was hard to eat after seeing all the flies in the area. Next time I'll probably just bring a sandwich from home.

zoo This is a great place to relax and have some fun. I love zoos. Kids have a great time here. Tons of animals to see and have fun with. Watch the antics of them all. Great food to be had. Easy parking and inexpensive fees. Alot to see and do all over this zoo. Bring the kids and/or the grandparents and make it a day. Great specials going on all the time. The animals love to have visitors so bring everyone along.

It's ok This Zoo was alright the exhibits were a little cramped for the animals. There really was not enough places to sit. To be honest, It was alright but not worth the money if you ask me. There really should be a few things updated. I think that would get business going. Like I said it was just ok to me.

Just ok I'm not that impressed with the Knoxville Zoo. For the money, it's not that exciting. Most of the animals are difficult to get a close look at, which is disappointing to young children. The new play area for kids is AWESOME, but usually too crowded to enjoy. We recently attended Boo at the Zoo and it was definitely a waste of time and money.

Fun! The Knoxville Zoo is just great! We always have a good time here, with or without the kids. The park is always clean and the animals always look healthy. They have good prices, and every November they have a day that is FREE!

Knoxville Zoo I absolutely love going to the zoo. It's such a fun way to spend the day and the Knoxville Zoo is one of the nicest I've ever been to. It's been recently remodeled so the exhibits are huge and the animals actually look happy. They also have shows that are very interesting and the gift shop has some really nice stuff that isn't too expensive. It doesn't cost much to get in so I go a few times a month during the summer.

Always something to do... at the Knoxville zoo! We love going to zoo! A few years ago they started to re-do it and it is just incredible now! They have a new kids play area that is huge! My daughter loves to go and play there. The animals are very well taken care of and the staff is so friendly. It is a very scenic zoo but beware that because it is in TN it does have areas that are a little steep to walk up.
