When i first came to Dr. Brown i was a complete hot mess now i can see things more clearly and understand not just myself but those around me Dr.Brown has helped me so much . He has sound advice and listens to what you say without judgement . A simple Thank you for everything just does not seem to be enough for someone who had helped the way Dr,Brown has

Dr. Brown provided our premarital counseling. He is a witty and wise guy who helped give sound advice for our Union! Cool guy

This guy has been my therapist for about 4 years now and I've only been getting better since then. He's very direct and doesn't sugar coat anything while also having empathy for his patients. He's never told me to "feel worse about myself."

Dr. Brown's approach was largely confrontational and seemed to be dictated by his urge to exert dominance over me, the patient. I have never been told by a therapist that I should feel worse about myself! Does that not potentially defeat the purpose of seeking therapy in the first place? In the course of my session, I felt attacked, belittled, and unheard. The final minutes seem to summarize the interaction fully.
