Although Knox Tenn (which recently closed) was around for many years, their rental quality was always sub-par in my opinion. I rented a number of power and non-power tools from them over the years only as a last resort. Most of the time, the equipment looked barely functional. On more than one occasion, what I was using broke or quit working while I was renting it.
