The prices are getting ridiculous! I was at the Halls location and they had a pair of designer jeans for $45!!! I believe the organization has become corrupt. They started out good but the management is probably getting greedy. I would like to know what the CEO makes. I struggle myself and like to give back to those less fortunate than me so going to a thrift store is a win-win situation. But I cannot afford to shop at KARMS anymore
No, I stayed there myself and saw how people got treated. There are a lot of good people there but also bad people there too. I saw how most of the staff treated the homeless people there, and it's ridiculous as hell, don't get me wrong, not all the staff were horrible, they were some really awesome staff but the others made them look bad as hell. I used to recommend KARM to everyone, but most of those I know are looking for real deals, and KARM no longer has that. I have been to numerous KARM stores, and have continuously seen prices rise. No joke, if you are looking for clothing, go somewhere else, the prices have become ridiculous! I can find cheaper prices for new stuff else where. It's like they discovered a gold mine and are now racking up. They claim to be a rescue ministry, but they only seem to want to rescue those in their program, which the stores are fundi... read more

Refusing to let a homeless man have a coat for $9.00 when that coat did not cost KARM a dime, as it was donated. Absurd bureaucratic principles not matching the core values of the organization.
I hope whoever was working that denied a homeless man a coat, was fired. So sad and disappointing.
IF THIS IS A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION THEN THEY SHOULD EXTEND IT TO A WOMAN WHOSE HUSBAND DONATED HER CABBAGE PATCH DOLL COLLECTION AFTER STEALING THEM FROM HER. BUT WHEN SHE INQUIRED ABOUT THEM SHE WAS ONLY SCORNED AND TOLD THAT THEY WERE EXPECTING HER TO COME IN! SHE COULD NOT AFFORD TO GO OUT AND REPLACE WHAT SHE HAD LOST.
