Very good service. Delightful waitress! Full portions of food for sure. We had the 2pc.fiddlers, cooked to perfection. Moist,tender but done*.The creamy coleslaw was delicious. I asked for extra butter for my baked potato and they did not skim!! Loved the quiet relaxing atmosphere in the family room. We plan to go back again, maybe for the fried chicken Sunday special.
We love Knob Hill! Close to home, the fishbowls are the coldest, food is great and the atmosphere is amazing.
We ate there last night and the food was awesome! Always have great experiences at the Knob!
Had the fiddlers and they were very good,The slaw was good but I wish it was vinegar slaw. They had potato salad that was good but no German potato salad.The fried pickles and fried mushrooms were very good too.The service was fast and friendly. We will be going back to try their chicken, it looked really good.
I had dinner with my husband. The food was fine. Chicken livers are one of our favorite items on the menu. The service was another story. The server never filled our drinks. Never came back with ketchup that my husband requested. And, never checked on us until we were done eating. This won't stop us from coming back, but it might lesson our visits.
This is a small quaint tavern style restaurant. The Yuengling on tap was cold and icy!! We had planned to "have lunch" but the appetizers looked so yummy we ended up with a table full of appetizers and full bellies. The fried mushrooms were standard fare... hot and tasty... but the horseradish dip was particularly yummy (especially since I don't like horseradish) but it had just enough "bite" and not overwhelming. The fiddlers were not a number 1 rated as we heard...Hilltop in Evansville would be our number one....
The bourbon glazed salmon was some of the best I've ever had. It was amazing!! Love it!
