Went for the first time since moving to town. It was good, but not great. We tried the catfish curls because everyone has raved about the catfish but the cornmeal breading was super gritty, like I almost choked on the crumbs in my throat. I had a french dip and the meat was delicious but they burned the bread and I don't send food back at a restaurant. My husband enjoyed the reuben. We had a grade school class reunion of 12 in the dining room and it could not have been more successful. The wait staff could not have been better! They were so accommodating, fast and friendly. Never had to wait on drinks and the food was spectacular. I did feel bad taking over the dining room with our loudness and I don't think we would do it again thinking about the other patrons. But of course, I will always return with a smaller crowd. Knob Hill rocks!
We celebrated our 1 year anniversary. The waitress was very quick and attentive, the salad was fresh, the food was amazing, fishbowls were ice cold, and service was fast. We recommend sitting in the terrace out back, quaint, quite and relaxing.
