Came during the Yarn Crawl and fell in love with this place. Beautiful items and super friendly staff.

This is truly the most beyond beautiful and most fabulous LYS I have ever been to and I make it my mission to go to as many as possible. . . Liz was also the most helpful and lovely sales associate during my visit there, just making it such a delightful experience. I was truly in heaven here and just blissing out, everything was merchandised so beautifully and the selection of yummy yarns was beyond compare. The only place to go for any ( and I mean any) of your knitting, crocheting and problem solving questions. The owner, Patti McShane, and her talented group of associates have knowledge in all areas, including a new project. You are helped with the pattern (how many stitches to cast on, what type of cast on, etc.) to a wonderful delightful selection of yarn(s) for your project and finishing. Join the Strand Club. I participated in the north shore section of the LI Yarn Crawl today and was happiest at The Knitted Purl! Such a kind and lovely owner and very helpful staff - would love to go weekly, but 1.5 hours one way is just too far for me - hopefully quarterly!!!
Fantastic shop! So many beautiful yarns to choose from and the staff is comprised of the happiest people around, probably because of all the yarn!
