The staff at this shop are friendly and helpful. I live in Wyoming and shop by phone. Great service and fast delivery! And the yarns are amaze balls! I visit NYC from time to time and I hope I get a chance to take a side trip to Oyster Bay.

There are only a few yarn stores open on Sundays. Today, I discovered The Knitted Purl. The selection of yarns was incredible, but what really sold me was the help I received from the owner Patti & her assistant. I forgot her name, I’m sorry. My friend and I were looking for something in the brown family. Within minutes, the ladies pulled out more than 2 dozen skeins for us to look at. I wished I lived a little closer, but I’ll definitely be back.
I made a beautiful wrap in one of their classes. They have lots of knitters notions.
Wonderful, warm store. The owner was a delight and I can't wait to visit again.
I called the knitted Purl to find a certain yarn. They had it in stock, in a lovely color. Liz was super helpful, and recommended some other Yarns. I bought what she selected. I called her Tuesday, it arrived today, Friday. Absolutely lovely. I'm sorry I live so far away, North Carolina. I would love to visit the shop in person
