I did not like the prime rib. I'd like a do-over to order something else,..lol. Service was great & the rest of our big group enjoyed their food. Drinks & food came super fast & restauramt was full. I'd go back next time in Ann Arbor.
I know I will always have a great meal here. Burgers are delicious but this time I have the perch. Very good with a light batter. Also had sweet potato fries in place of reg fries. Good choice!
A classic steak house, and a classic Ann Arbor institution. I've been here several times, and it has never disappointed. The quality of meat, generous portions, and attentive, friendly service is always top notch. Highly recommended.
Hostess skipped over seating us-twice-intentionally. Could care less. Other hostess could have simply pointed at the table- she said not a single word. This job isn’t rocket science- the job title implies that you are “hosting” your guests. Try treating everyone the same and being courteous and polite. A five year old could do better. Apologize genuinely if you make an error. Twice. I think everyone had a good meal. My fish was very good. One of our guest had a steak that was overdone. The staff handled that very well. Waiter was great with the kids. I will go back for prime rib.

June 27th was our first anniversary. I called on June 26th for a reservation the following day for 6pm. We arrived promptly at 5:45 to check in for our table, to which we were informed the was no such reservation. We were told we would be seated as soon as something opened up. At approximately 6:30 we were led to a small table located just outside the kitchen doors, which barely was big enough for one person. We both had the prime rib. Great food, good cocktails and fantastic staff. What more could you ask for. Prime rib sandwich for lunch! Wheeo! Someone told us about how great this place was and it did not disappoint.
