Dr. Knauf ( Doctor loosely) is in business to make money off Cornea Surgery . The Bay Pines VA Eye care made mistakes, which caused me to go blind in my one eye. The best way to cover their mistakes was to send me to Knauf for a Cornea transplant. Knauf watched an Ulcer grow during all 7 visits. The best thing I ever did was go to another Eye Clinic. Eventually, I was sent to Bascom Palmer Institute for 30 days. You are better off going oversea's with the enemy, than dealing with Knauf.
Knowledgable, ethical, good bedside manner
Dr Knauf is one of the best doctors I know. He always was patient, kind and knowledgeable in all areas of his speciality. I am proud to have him have treated my mother. He is funny, smart and very attractive too.
Dr. Knauf throughly explained my disease, the surgery he recommended and then followed up with several appointments to complete my post surgery conditions. He was very patient and answered all my questions and concerns at each step. I never felt rushed or pressured to make decisions without fully understanding all angles of my eye disease and treatment. Without hesitiaion, I would recommend him to family and friends.
