Slum I lived at KLOS apartments for almost 3 years. Only because they were cheap. Everything in a KLOS apartment, from doors to refrigerators to stoves, are the cheapest junk they could buy in bulk. This means that none of it works. I never had a stove that would stay on, or a shower that had more water come out of the shower head than the bath spigot (this resulted in an ankle bath every time). SHAME ON BBB for an A+ rating as this is an absolute lie. KLOS is far from a family owned and operated vibe that they try so hard to portray as they are slowly taking over independently rented properties all over denver and imposing rent hikes and providing nothing of value to add to the maintenance or quality of building. they raise rent, skim off the top, and when communicating with tenants, they get aggressive, dismissive and try to gaslight tenant experiences with issues. I have rented from Klos and I want to express how amazing the experience has been. First off the showing was prompt and the apartment looked just as it was advertised. The manager showing the apartment was kind and answered all my questions. Because I was the first to submit the application they stopped showing the apartment and they were able to process my application quickly. This company is absurd! You will get better customer service from a craigslist ad. I cannot wait to see how they respond, because it seems any bad review comes with an excuse or them taking no responsibility. To start, we were told during the showing that cats were allowed, and they would give us a $60 cap on the gas bill, and snow removal was included. We put in the $110 applications on Friday, and we were told to call back Monday afternoon. We called, and the applications had not been processed, we were fine with it. They ... read more

I am beyond myself how the BBB would rate this company an A+???!!! Maybe they pay their taxes on time? Their reviews are super mixed and in our personal experience, they were the worst leasing company we have ever come in contact with! I wouldn't recommend this agency at all. They are completely incapable of handing their business in a professional manor. They lack good communication between each other which only hurts the customers. They are rude and dismissive. After a year of moving out they are trying to tell me I owe them $200 for a plumbing problem that was unreported. I honestly thought it was a mistake they made. I have unarchived the emails that were sent asking them to send someone to check on the leak. I spoke on the phone with Tim K*** as well as Mitzi K*** regarding the situation, as I had to talk to them almost every month regarding late rent. Below average family owned company who will approve your application prior to completing a full background check (which really had nothing to hide), make you waste time, money and make you feel like its your fault.

This applicant failed to disclose his second identity and the criminal record with this second identity The screening company we use informed us this morning that there was a problem. The applicant was denied based on non disclosure regarding of his second identity as well as non disclosure of his criminal record. The $50.00 application was retain, due to this.
