I purchased the 12000 btu diy kit through Amazon on August 26 2022. It was easy to install and worked well for 2 years. Now the inside unit fan is making a loud hum while heating or cooling. It also has developed a snapping noise. I’ve emailed customer service every week for 2 weeks and no response. I’ve tried to do it through their website but conveniently their website has no record of me filing the warranty that I did on their website… Don’t buy this unit. Pay the extra money and get a Mrcool unit.

Installed a Klimaires DIY mini split, and it was a great experience! The kit had everything I needed, instructions were clear, and setup was easier than expected. The unit cools and heats perfectly, and customer support was super helpful with any questions. Highly recommend for DIYers wanting quality and support!
Don't believe the good reviews about this company. The klimaire system I have had to have the mini split in my room replaced under warranty and repaired over and over. The unit in the living room failed right after the warranty expired. The entire system has now failed and can't be fixed. I have to start over and I had to put in window units. until I can get a new system. Definitely recommend against doing business with klimaire.
Because of Samy Vargas (Klimaire parts department) my troubleshooting was a pleasant experience. He communicated with me via email, phone on several occasions to resolve my replacement part for my Klimare A/C. Thank you Samy!
