The worst. From holding on to sub contractors money to cover their own overhead, to mismanaging jobs that drag out for YEARS, to ordering extra work and then not paying for it, Klassen is a dark spot on the construction industry. Once I had to call the bank AND the owner of a project to find out that Klassen had been paid, but had not distributed any monies to their subs. Trying to submit change orders and zero have been approved. Hours of work, hundreds of thousands of dollars back owed!!!! Each of them coming back “denied”. No explanation, and can’t get ahold of anyone or answers…. These change orders mainly came from Having a completely different set of plans that were originally bid on.
