We had a really great experience with Klappenberg this past June. They painted several rooms in our 1930s historic house using high quality paints. Daniel and Saban and his team did a beautiful job--were very careful about dust--so important when dealing with an older home. They were punctual, flexible, professional, friendly, and just so kind and respectful of our home. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
I would have liked to work with this company, however it didn’t work out. I scheduled an estimate 3-4 weeks before and called to confirm before. The estimate was confirmed, but the day before I was contacted and asked to do a virtual estimate instead. This felt odd to me, but I agreed, however this was not honored. We had a wonderful experience with Klappenberger! We had the exterior of our house painted, including detail work on our old Sears kit house. Daniel and the crew couldn’t have been nicer. The work was done efficiently and with attention to detail. Shout out to Sabas and crew!
I used Daniel to remodel two properties on Capitol Hill. He and his team are now our go to contractors and specialist. I cannot shout their praises enough.
The Washington DC office is unable to meet the needs of its customers. I had scheduled their service only for them to not show up. I rescheduled for 3 people to arrive at 9:00. At 10:00 1 painter arrived, was extremely rude, and immediately left saying they did not want to do the job. Scheduling and communication was a nightmare, I ultimately went with another contractor.
