I can’t remember my nurses name (Melissa?) but I want to thank her, Dr Udink, and Alexis, sonographer, for wonderful care. As a healthcare professional myself, I strive to treat my patients (and families) the way my husband and I were treated that day. Kudos, SLMC!

On Friday October 18, 2019 I had another orthopedic surgery at Sky Lakes that was including another overnight stay. I've never had a problem with this hospital in 15 years. Until this time. I'm an Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and POTS patient who takes nine different meds each day, most of them several times a day. RecommendedI just moved down to Klamath this week and then had to get a surprise appendectomy done here this weekend. I had an amazingly positive experience throughout my stay. Everyone that I interacted with was super caring and attentive to my needs, from my surgeon (Dr. Smith) all the way to the ER registrars. The food I had was all good and my bed was comfy. I felt completely informed throughout the whole process, which was very reassuring as I am brand new to town. Would definitely recommend
