My kids and I had a great experience today. Most important is that they left feeling confident about their visit. They loved Dr Thom!
No words could express how grateful we are to have found Dr. Akins and his staff!! They went above and beyond our standards! So comforting to have a staff that understands kids with special needs.
What a cool experience! The children have an arcade and a mini movie theatre while they wait. Parents have a complimentary coffee station while they wait on their little ones. We had the perfect first dental visit!
Dr Thom is one of the best Pediatric Dentists in his field. He was my daughters dentist from the time she was small and was always calm, compassionate and appropriately conservative about her treatment. He explains things in a way to parent that best lay out treatment options and allows for frank and open discussion. We were so sad to see him leave Atlanta but SC parents should consider themselves lucky to have him.
Without a doubt, Dr Thom is the best Pediatric Dentist you could ever hope to have! My son, Josh began seeing Dr Thom after having a very negative dental experience. Dr Thom went above and beyond to turn that around. He took the time to find out Josh's interests and interacted with him according to his personality and interests.
