Tonight was the first time that I have eaten at Kitchen 519 and I was blown away! From the time that I stepped out of my vehicle, it smelled like something close to heaven. The scent and taste of the food should be illegal because it is just that good! Not only was the food off the charts, but the service from our waiter Vince was top notch! I had the beef filet. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. My husband had the salmon which he loved too. The veggies that came with were unusual, peppers and celery, but so crunchy and delicious. Yummy garlic mashed potatoes. We loved all of the charitable work this restaurant does it's evident everywhere (we were there for a fundraiser). We will definitely be back!
Had dinner there on a Friday evening. We skipped having an appetizer (lucky call) and went straight to our bread and "Italian butter", which was olive oil and basil pesto. Served in a small but deeper-than-usual bowl, the pesto sat on the bottom. Had to soak the bread in the oil to capture any pesto. Not good! Went there for the first time yesterday and had always heard the food was really really amazing and it truly was! I especially liked the fact that it's a BYOB! I had the 6 ounce filet med rare and it was scrumptious. My friends and I share dessert bananas Foster and it was equally as scrumptious! Definitely recommend you try it if you have it.
Wonderful food and service. I had the steak special with lobster and asparagus and jicama slaw which I loved!
We were a party of 9 for Easter brunch and everything was wonderful. The waiter was very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our visit a pleasant one. We also came from Philadelphia. Can't say enough about the bananas foster!!!

We went for restaurant week and had a great time. Jordan our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. It's obvious that the chef and staff have a passion for interesting and tasty food.
